Step 1: Prepare Your Towels (Two Towel Method)

The key to achieving streak-free windows lies in using the Two Towel Method. Before you use this method make sure you have the Microfiber Towels and Glass Cleaning solution at the ready. For the two towel method you will use the following;

First Towel: This will be used solely for applying the cleaning product. It will become damp and unsuitable for buffing.

Second Towel: This dry towel is used for buffing the glass to a streak-free shine.

Bonus Tip: Avoid using paper towels as they can leave fibers, smudges, and streaks on the glass.

Spray the Cleaner

With the Gel Glass Cleaner we provide you can spray it on any hot or cold window including window tint!

NOTE: If the glass is hot, spray the cleaner onto the towel to avoid rapid evaporation. If the glass is cool, you can spray the cleaner directly onto the glass.

Fold the towel into thirds to ensure you have multiple clean sides to work with. Make sure you are washing and using glass towels correctly (See Microfiber Towel Guide Here). Doing this will avoid unwanted streaks being introduced in the buffing step.

Wipe the Cleaner

Wipe the cleaner off on the interior using a left to right motion and wipe the cleaner on the window exterior using an up and down motion. This provides a way to see what side of the window the cleaner is on, if any is leftover after the first wipe-off. Video Here

NOTE: Don't forget to roll down interior windows and clean all parts including the top edge.

Buff to Shine

After wiping off the cleaner, or wiping on the cleaner use the dry towel to buff the window to a clean, clear shine.
