Liquid Tube for the Twister Complete
Part ST-T-ILT is the replacement inner liquid tube for the Stinger Twister Complete. This tube is what makes the Complete different from the rest of the Twister line: it draws cleaning solution up into the airstream so the tool delivers a chemical-and-air vortex instead of air alone. That is the entire reason the Complete cuts set-in carpet stains that a blow gun only pushes around. When the tube cracks, collapses, or clogs, liquid draw goes weak or stops, and the tool quietly turns into an expensive air nozzle.
The most common cause of failure is chemistry. The Twister Complete is rated for water-based products only, and running silicone-based dressings through it fouls the liquid path in a way that cleaning rarely reverses. If your tube has gummed up, replace it and switch to a water-based carpet and fabric cleaner going forward. While you have the tool apart, it is worth checking the rotator assembly as well, since both are wear items on the same tool.
What Makes it Great:
💧 Restores Liquid Draw: The tube pulls cleaning solution into the airstream. A cracked or clogged one is why a Complete stops cleaning while still blowing full air.
🎯 Correct Part for the Complete: ST-T-ILT is the liquid tube for the Twister Complete specifically, not a cross-referenced part from another brand's tool.
⚠️ The Fix After a Silicone Mistake: Silicone-based products foul the liquid path and are the usual reason these tubes get replaced. A fresh tube plus water-based chemistry only puts the tool right.
🔧 Keeps a Serviceable Tool Serviceable: The Complete is built to come apart and go back together, and stocking the wear items is what makes that design actually worth something.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the inner liquid tube do?
It carries cleaning solution from the reservoir into the tool's airstream, where air and liquid combine into the vortex. Without it working, you have compressed air and no chemical, which is why cleaning power disappears while airflow stays strong.
How do I know the tube needs replacing?
Weak or inconsistent liquid draw is the tell. If the tool sputters chemical, pulls solution slowly, or stops drawing entirely while air output is unchanged, inspect the tube for cracks, collapsed sections, or residue buildup inside the bore.
Why do liquid tubes fail?
Most often from running the wrong chemistry. The Twister Complete is rated for water-based products, and silicone-based dressings leave residue that narrows and eventually blocks the liquid path. Normal wear, kinking, and cracking from age account for the rest.
Do the Twister Mini or Twister Blow Gun use this part?
No. Those are air-only tools with no liquid path, so they have no inner liquid tube. This part applies only to the Twister Complete.
Can I clean the tube instead of replacing it?
Flushing with warm water after each use prevents most buildup and is worth doing routinely. Once residue has hardened inside the bore or the tube has cracked, kinked, or gone soft, cleaning will not restore proper draw and replacement is the fix.
